USCIS Issues Policy Guidance Regarding Controlled Substances Laws

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued policy guidance clarifying that violations of controlled substance laws (including marijuana) are generally a bar to establishing good moral character for naturalization, even if that conduct would not be an offense under state law.
