At Powers Immigration Law, we believe that legal fees should be clear, fair, and easy to understand. Whether you're seeking a green card, work authorization, or protection under a humanitarian program, knowing the cost of legal help from the beginning is essential.

Flat Fees for Most Immigration Services
For many immigration matters, including naturalization, family-based adjustment of status, humanitarian relief (such as VAWA, U visas, and DACA) attorney Tanya Powers offers flat legal fees. A flat fee gives you a clear understanding of the legal cost for your case with no surprises.

Flat fees are determined based on the type of case, the expected amount of work involved, and the complexity of your specific situation. During your initial consultation, Attorney Powers will provide a personalized quote and discuss the scope of representation.

Government filing fees (such as those paid to USCIS) are not included in the attorney’s fee and vary by case type.

Hourly Billing for Most Employment-Based Immigration Matters
While some employment-based cases may be eligible for flat fees, most employment-based immigration matters are billed hourly. This is because the level of assistance employers need can vary widely. Some employers are very familiar with the process and require limited support, while others need more hands-on guidance throughout.

Since it’s difficult to accurately predict the time commitment at the outset, hourly billing allows the Firm to provide the level of support each employer truly needs—without overcharging or undercharging based on assumptions.
If you are an employer or employee seeking assistance with a work visa or employment-based green card, we’ll discuss the likely scope of involvement and estimate total costs as accurately as possible after the consultation.

Flexible Payment Plans
To make legal services more accessible, Powers Immigration Law offers payment plans for most flat-fee cases. You choose how much you can reasonably pay each month toward your immigration goals.

Please note that all legal fees must be paid in full before any applications or petitions are submitted. Payment plans are not available for urgent cases that must be filed quickly or under tight deadlines.

Written Fee Agreements and Clear Communication
Once you decide to move forward, all legal fees and payment arrangements will be clearly outlined in a written agreement. If any unexpected issues arise—such as Requests for Evidence (RFEs) or changes in case scope—we will let you know before additional charges apply.

Honest, Personalized Legal Representation
Attorney Tanya Powers is committed to providing high-quality, affordable immigration legal services with clarity and integrity. We’ll work with you to help anticipate costs and avoid surprises, so you can move forward with confidence.
