Last month, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it is extending the flexibilities in responding to some requests announced on March 30, 2020. The flexibility applies to

  • Requests for Evidence (RFEs);

  • Continuations to Request Evidence (N-14);

  • Notices of Intent to Deny (NOID);

  • Notices of Intent to Revoke;

  • Notices of Intent to Rescind; and

  • Certain other agency requests.

The flexibility applies to these agency requests if the issuance date on the request, notice or decision is between March 1, 2020 and January 15, 2022. In such cases, USCIS will consider a response to the requests and notices timely if it is received within 60 calendar days after the response due date.

Visit USCIS for details.
